Marvelous underwater waterfall illusion

What a great surprise to discover this fantastic nature’s mother gift. On this picture our eyes see a big waterfall underwater. The location is at the southeast coast of Africa on Mauritius which is an island close to the Reunion. In fact, it’s not a waterfall but just the water of the sea surrounding the Island. If you want to visit this place, you have to go on the Morne Brabant coast.  What do you think about it? Don’t you find it amazing?

Grüner Sea: the Jeky and Mr. Hyde Lake

The Grüner Sea (means Green Lake) is located in Styria, Austria. He has two personalities according to the season. During winter, the lake is only one or two meters deep in a hiking area. With the highest temperature due to the spring Sun Lake reaches its maximum depth of 12 meter. That means that during hot season, this lake covers hiking paths. Pictures are very beautiful and poetic. We see fishes swimming between bench and flowers, an original mix of life.

Water in sculpture

Ancient Water Art

Artists have been using water in sculpture for thousands of years.  The ancient Romans were famous for their beautiful fountains.  Back then, the fountains had a functional purpose since they were sources of water for residents of the city.  Although the sculpture that surrounded the flowing water was beautiful, the water itself was rarely used as part of the decoration.  The art was the sculpture of the boy who held a vase or of a lion's head.  Water flowed by gravity from the vase or the lion's mouth into a holding tank to be used by those who lived in the neighborhood.
